The Washington Mid Atlantic Chapter of the Institute of Classical Architecture & Art is thrilled to announce the winners of the 2023 John Russell Pope Award which celebrates excellence in traditional design and the allied arts.

An esteemed jury consisting of 5 jurors, bestowed twelve awards on April 28th at the historic Sulgrave Club in Washington DC. The jurors chose the winners from over 70 submissions.

“These award-winning projects are among the best works anywhere “ exclaimed Peter H Miller Hon AIA, president of the ICAA Washington Mid Atlantic Chapter and host of the J R Pope Awards gala. “ Our esteemed jury is very impressed with the quality of this classical design.”

The John Russell Pope Award jurors were Michael Imber, Tom Kligerman, Jessica LaGrange, Janice Parker and Andrew Skurman. The awards are given every two years.
