The 2024 Clem Labine Award Recipient is Barbara Eberlein

The Clem Labine Award is given to that individual who fosters humane qualities in our built environment by giving back to our traditional building community. It is someone who volunteers for important causes, leads by example, teaches and inspires others, is devoted to education and culture, does good work, much of it pro bono, and gets things done.

This year the Clem Labine Award recipient is Barbara Eberlein of Eberlein Consultants LTD.

Barbara brings creativity, exuberance, and vision to a wide range of leadership positions in this traditional building space, including but not limited to: The Philadelphia Museum of Art, where she served on the Philanthropy committee, the European Arts committee, the Planned Giving committee, and several other committees at the Museum. You can get dizzy watching this energetic woman do her thing for non-profit institutions like The Franklin Institute, The Preservation Alliance, Moore College, Drexel University.

Barbara has served at the Institute of Classical Architecture & Art College of Chapters where she led all ICAA chapter presidents to do good work in the organization’s mission to teach the classical design language around the country.

She is a great listener, a problem solver, a creative thinker, and an expert in her interior design field, dedicated to continuous education and professional development. Among her volunteer associates and her clients who have long been the benefactors of her talent are The Union League, Princeton University, the ASID, Ardrossan, Villanova, and the Franklin Institute.

Congratulations, Barbara!
