ICAA Summer Studio in Classical Architecture

The ICAA Summer Studio in Classical Architecture is a four-week, immersive program introducing students to skills, knowledge, and resources essential to the practice and appreciation of classical design. Students build a foundation in classical architectural design through coursework in a variety of areas.

Applications for the 2021 program are due by March 22, 2021. Find out more about the program and how to apply below.

Please note that the ICAA is currently planning to hold this program in-person in New York City, but we will be assessing the feasibility of this closer to the summer and may make changes to the format as necessary. Should any changes be made, all applicants will be notified as soon as possible.

The Summer Studio in Classical Architecture covers the ICAA's Core Curriculum subjects and confers the Certificate in Classical Architecture upon successful completion of the program.

The 2021 program schedule will be available closer to Summer 2021. As a reference for what to expect, you can view the 2019 schedule here; please note that the Summer Studio schedule changes every year and therefore the instructors, topics, and time allotted for each content area are subject to change for 2021.
